    February 14 : Institut Pasteur in Cambodia was hosting a high-level delegation from the Royal University of Phnom Penh led by HE DR. MEY Kalyan

    Institut Pasteur in Cambodia was hosting a high-level delegation (see below) from RUPP on Wednesday 14 February

    We were very pleased to welcome 5 members of RUPP :

    1. HE Dr. MEY Kalyan, Chairman of the Board of trustees
    2. Dr PHAL Des, Vice-Rector in charge of Academic Affairs
    3. Dr. TIENG Siteng, Head of the Department of Biological Engineering
    4. Dr SEAM Ngonn, Assistant Head of Department of Mathematics
    5. Dr ITH Saveng, Lecturer, Department of Biology

    With 4 presentations by 4 Cambodian and foreign IPC researchers :

    1. Research on malaria. Dr Mme Khim Nimol
    2. Research in immunology of Dengue. Dr Mme Tineke Cantaert
    3. Research on Nipah Virus. M Hul Vibol
    4. Research on mosquito vectors. Dr Sébastien Boyer

     

    Also planned the visit of IPC laboratories and facilities

    To end cocktail and exchanges on future partnerships between IPC and RUPP

    The objective is to strengthen collaboration between RUPP and IPC, particularly in 2 directions: Bachelor and graduate students internships at IPC, research in collaboration
