December 2018: All the teams, including Institut Pasteur du Cambodge, were gathered for the TB-Speed International Training in Ouganda: 6 days of technical and practical sessions starting today to train consortium members and technical partners on TB-Speed method.
As reminder, the TB-Speed project will carry out research activities aiming at reducing childhood mortality from TB by evaluating innovative and cost-effective TB diagnostic approaches for resource-limited settings. Implemented over a period of four years in seven countries of Africa and Asia (Cambodia, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Uganda, and Zambia), the project will contribute to screening of a total of approximately 77,000 children.
