    Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) is seeking one full-time Project Manager working on clinical research projects at the Epidemiology and Public Health Unit. Based in Phnom Penh, possibly short trips in provinces depending on projects.


    • Language required: Khmer and good in English (or French)
    • Place: in Phnom Penh and willing to travel
    • Contract starting date: May 2019
    • Contract end date: December 2020



    • At least Bachelor’s Degree;
    • Strong logistical experience and skills in rural areas;
    • Have NGO experience working in health projects;
    • Ability to communicate in English both spoken and written and be able to operate Ms office software like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and electronic mail programs;
    • Be active and sound like a good team player and Good interpersonal Communication;
    • Good communication skills, both in oral and written forms, is required;
    • Good Governance;
    • Be patient and have a good work commitment.



    • Coordinate the implementation of project deliverables;
    • Take overall operational and technical responsibility of designated project area and ensuring good quality of project delivery;
    • Provide operational support to Local Coordinator and Community Facilitators specific of project design, project plans and budgets and consolidation of all plans. Ensuring that project staff has their plan to implement their project on the ground;
    • Oversee logistic support to Epidemiology unit activities;
    • Develop Project monitoring tools to track outputs described in the project design;
    • Keep monitoring and update the tools as timely basic to ensure that the data is accurate and useable for reporting and/or project design;
    • Coordinate with Project Accountants and Finance and Administration Assistants to monitor the flow of funds, ensuring appropriate charging of project expenses, and in reviewing and processing cash advances, requests and liquidation reports submitted by field staff and project affiliates;
    • Verify budgets and work plans to ensure that accounting principles are respected;
    • Conduct monitoring/networking visits to project implementation sites and ensure that Project Staff comply with donor Management Procedures & Guidelines in the implementation of the project;
    • Perform such other relevant tasks as required for the implementation of the project;
    • Submit action plans and activity reports, budgets and accounts on program activities;
    • Ensure that project activities are properly recorded and reported in a way that renders possible continuous internal evaluation and periodic evaluation from outside;
    • Provide information data and materials, such as special reports, photographic and sound recordings, etc. related to the program, as and when required
