    The “Geo-Health” – Ecomore 2 Training at Institut Pasteur du Cambodge: May 27th–31st 2019

    The “Geo-Health” training, GIS and spatial analysis oriented, within the framework of Ecomore 2, is organized at Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) from May 27th to 31st, 2019.

    8 participants from Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Vietnam and 7 participants from the IPC joined this training given by Vincent Herbreteau, Health Geographer at the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development in the UMR Espace-Dev Research Unit, who is currently based at IPC for the Ecomore 2 Project and by Arnaud Vandecasteele, PhD in geomatics, who is a co-founder of GeoLab and a major player in geomatics for spatial data acquisition and analysis, computer development and training.

    This training aims to provide an overview of the fundamentals and methods of geomatics for health, to gather the work package focal points in spatial analysis and to discuss about spatial analyses within Ecomore 2 project.
