The Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) is looking for a qualified nurse to work as a full-time staff at Rabies Prevention Center based in Battambang province. The initial contract is offered for one year (renewable), as staff to the Vaccination Center, IPC.

Recruitment conditions:

• Cambodian nationality
• Language skills required: English and/or French in addition to Khmer
• Willing to work based in Battambang
• Available to start: 16^th February 2023

Main responsibilities:

• Ensuring the activities of the Rabies Prevention Center according to the standard operating procedures under the supervision of the medical supervisor of Battambang Rabies Prevention Center
• Performing vaccination to clients
• Providing basic wounds care related to animal bite
• Assisting medical doctor in different activities of Rabies Prevention Center
• Managing the cold chain for storage of vaccines and immunoglobulins
• Managing animal specimens (specimen reception, shipment)
• Ensuring the necessary opening of the center during certain public holidays for the benefit of patients
• Respecting IPC internal rules

Candidate Profile :

• Experiences in performing vaccination
• Willing to work in the prevention of rabies
• Newly graduated are also encouraged to apply
• High spirit of ethics responsibility
• Proficiency in Khmer and English and/or French
• Good teamwork
• Good in communication, meticulous, autonomous
