At Institut Pasteur du Cambodge we perform the Fluorescent Antibody Virus Neutralization (FAVN) test, which is accepted and recommended by the World Organization for Animal Health to measure rabies antibodies after vaccination in pets. We are approved by the European Union to perform serology for pet animals (dogs, cats and ferrets) for determining rabies antibody titer after vaccination for the purpose of traveling
For non-EU countries, please check with the local authorities/customs if they accept a certificate from an EU-approved laboratory.
The total cost per test will be $105.
Samples have to be taken by a veterinarian in a veterinary practice and then send with the completed submission form to the reception at Institut Pasteur du Cambodge, 5 Monivong Blvd, Phnom Penh.
At the moment we only accept domestic samples for testing.
