As part of ongoing support the Ministry of Health on rabies elimination activities towards the main goals of the national strategic plan to eliminate dog-mediated human rabies deaths by 2030. From 17th-21st April 2023, the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge organized a Rabies Post-Exposure Prophylaxis Training Course for a medical team from Kampot Referral Hospital.

3 Medical doctors who have successfully completed this intense training course, will play an important role in integrating rabies post-exposure prophylaxis into the existing Kampot Referral Hospital service for the benefit of the public in the region.
