Strengthening collaboration with the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development

On November 16th, the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) had the pleasure to welcome a delegation from the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD) led by Mrs. Valérie VERDIER, its Chairwoman of the board and CEO.

 

Messrs. DANGLES Olivier, Deputy Chief Science Officer in charge of Sustainability Science, Jean-Christophe AVARRE, Deputy Scientific Director, Vincent DRAPEAU, Asia and Pacific Project Manager, MARCHAND Guillaume, South East Asia Communication Project Manager, Prof. Adèle MARTIAL, Country Representative, Ms. Sabine KLOTZ, International Corporate and Administration Volunteer at IRD,  Researchers Anne-Laure BANULS and HIDE Mallorie from the IRD International Joint Laboratory Drug Resistance in Southeast Asia and Vincent Herbreteau from the Geo Health group were accompanying her during this visit.

 

On this occasion Prof. André Spiegel, Director of IPC, introduce the institute to the delegation as well as the research activities and collaborations with IRD.

After a visit of the facilities and to meet with research units team members of the institute, the delegation was invited to a round-table meeting on the dynamics of IRD teams, projects on which the IRD and the IPC are collaborating as well as new projects that would be implemented.
