On 5 September 2025, Institut Pasteur du Cambodge was delighted to welcome Dr. Anne Goldfeld, Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA) and co-founder of the Cambodian Health Committee (CHC). During her visit, she met with the Immunology Unit, led by Dr. Tineke Cantaert and Polidy Pean, Deputy director of the unit, to discuss a new collaborative project on HIV immunology and HIV co-infections.

Dr. Goldfeld is also known as co-principal investigator of the landmark CAMELIA clinical trial, which demonstrated the survival benefits of earlier antiretroviral treatment in HIV/TB co-infected patients and helped change international treatment guidelines.

Her continued collaboration at Institut Pasteur du Cambodge will further strengthen scientific partnerships and advance research for better patient outcomes.
