Research studies

The RACSMEI project aims to reduce the burden of infectious diseases in Cambodia by combining One Health surveys, advanced diagnostics, social science, and mathematical modeling to better understand disease transmission and guide targeted prevention strategies.

The ECOMORE network aims to enhance health security in Southeast Asia by studying the spread of key zoonotic and vector-borne diseases. Using advanced diagnostics and environmental data, it will identify major vectors and reservoirs to inform disease control. This One Health project will build a multisectoral biobank and database, offering critical insights to national health authorities for targeted and timely public health responses.

The VIRAGE Study, led by IPC with national and international partners, will survey 104 villages to better understand rabies awareness and barriers to care. The results will guide interventions and support Cambodia’s goal of zero human rabies deaths by 2030.
