A delegation of eight scientists, led by Prof. Ivan K. S. Yap from the Sarawak Infectious Disease Centre (SIDC), Malaysia, visited Phnom Penh on 17–18 November 2025 for scientific exchange and collaboration meeting.

Over the two days, the delegation met with IPC researchers and experts from multiple entities (Virology, Entomology, Malaria, and Epidemiology, BSL3) to exchange knowledge and explore potential collaborations in vector-borne diseases, genomics, diagnostics, and laboratory biosafety. The agenda included unit visits, technical discussions, and a debriefing session that highlighted opportunities for future partnerships.
