IPC and NIPH Reinforce National Capacity with Influenza Training Graduation

On September 18, the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) and the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) came together to celebrate with a certificate handover ceremony, marking the successful completion of a three-week joint training program on Cell Culture, Virus Isolation, and HA/HAI for Seasonal Influenza, held at IPC’s Virology Unit.

The event was honored by the presence of Professor André Spiegel (IPC) and Assistant Professor Buth Sokhal (NIPH), who underscored the shared commitment of both institutions to strengthening scientific expertise in Cambodia.

This achievement reflects not only the dedication of the participants but also the spirit of collaboration between IPC and NIPH. By working side-by-side, the institutions are reinforcing national capacity and contributing to stronger health systems: resilient at home and interconnected with the global effort to prepare for and respond to emerging health threats.
