IPC Receives Award for ISO/IEC 17025 Leadership in EU/UNIDO/FiA CAPFish-Capture Project

Boosting Cambodia's Food Safety: IPC Awarded for ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation

Prof. André Spiegel, Director of the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC), and Dr Sreng Navin attended the closing ceremony of the “CAPFish-Capture: Post-harvest Fisheries Development Project”, where IPC received awards recognizing its active partnership and leadership toward ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.

IPC expresses its sincere appreciation to the project, jointly implemented by the Fisheries Administration (FiA) and UNIDO, with generous co-funding from the European Union, for its strong collaboration and invaluable support. The project’s technical guidance and sustained commitment have been pivotal in strengthening IPC’s Laboratory of Environment and Food Safety (LEFS) and enabling its ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. This partnership has significantly contributed to building national capacity in food safety and quality control, thereby supporting Cambodia’s fisheries sector and promoting sustainable growth in line with international standards.
