Institut Pasteur du Cambodge held its 4th PhD Day on March 13
On the morning of March 13, the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) held the 4th edition of its PhD Day, now a key annual event in the life of the Institute. This event was an opportunity to celebrate the research, dedication, and achievements of our PhD students, and to recognize the essential role they play in IPC’s scientific community and future. As research and training are at the heart of IPC’s missions, supporting PhD students is a strategic priority for the Institute and an important contribution to training the next generation of researchers in Cambodia. IPC currently hosts 16 PhD students from 5 nationalities, including 10 Cambodian students. During this PhD Day, 12 students presented their research projects and shared their work with the wider scientific community of the Institute.
The two sessions were moderated by Dr. Anna Signe Fomsgaard, postdoctoral researcher in the Virology Unit, and Dr. Sophea Iv, Research Assistant in the Epidemiology Unit.
