Scientific collaboration with Malaysia

The Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) is delighted to announce a new strategic partnership with the Sarawak Infectious Disease Centre (SIDC), Malaysia, formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 19 March 2026.

This MoU marks an important milestone in our shared commitment to addressing infectious diseases and strengthening regional health security. Through this collaboration, IPC and SIDC aim to:

  • work together on regional health priorities and pandemic preparedness in Southeast Asia;
  • develop joint initiatives focused on public health preparedness and emerging infectious diseases;
  • design and implement specialized training and capacity-building programs.

Together, IPC and SIDC are contributing to stronger laboratory biosafety and helping build a safer and better prepared future for Southeast Asia.
