On Thursday, April 9, 2026, the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) organized a celebration for all employees in honor of Khmer New Year, one of the most significant holidays in Cambodia.
Over 300 employees gathered for the event, creating a lively atmosphere for all to enjoy. The evening was filled with engaging activities, including a dinner, a live band performance, a lucky draw, and a fun dancing game that added to the festive spirit.
Professor André Spiegel, Director of IPC, and Dr. Ly Sowath, Deputy Director of IPC, shared words of gratitude at the beginning of the event, extending their warm wishes for a joyful Khmer New Year to everyone present.
Earlier in the afternoon, a traditional ceremony took place at IPC, where Buddhist monks recited blessings to honor ancestors, relatives, and friends, ensuring that merits were passed on for their well-being.
The Management thanked everyone who contributed to the success of this important event in the life of IPC: Staff Representatives, the Human Resources Department, and all the volunteers from the different units and laboratories.
