On August 30, 2023, a delegation of Malaria Consortium visited the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) in Phnom Penh. The delegation was composed of Tom Heslop, Director of Global Operations and Asia, U.K., Mousumi Rahman, Country Director and Lieven Vernaeve, Program Manager in Cambodia.

After a visit of the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge, the delegation discussed about current and potential projects in the Medical and Veterinary Entomology Unit with Dr. Sébastien Boyer, Head of Medical and Veterinary Entomology Unit at IPC.

The visit ended with a meeting with Dr. Ly Sowath, Deputy Director of the Institute, and Dr. Claude Flamand, Head of Epidemiology and Public Health Unit at IPC, to discuss about epidemiological projects relative to malaria elimination.
