NCAW Delegation Visits IPC's Biological Safety Level 3 Laboratory

On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, officials from the National Authority of Chemical Weapons (NACW), led by HE General PHORN NARA, visited the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC). The NACW delegation expressed their sincere appreciation for IPC’s invitation and the opportunity to learn about the institute’s pivotal role in public health.

Professor André SPIEGEL provided an overview of IPC’s contributions and commitment to maintaining high safety standards and scientific excellence. The visit included a tour of IPC’s Biological Safety Level 3 (BSL-3) Laboratory. This facility is one of the few in Cambodia and is essential for conducting research on highly infectious and potentially lethal pathogens, ensuring that IPC remains at the forefront of infectious disease research.

IPC continues to strengthen its role in public health, emphasizing safety, innovation, and collaboration in all its activities.
