ការសិក្សាដើម្បីប្រយុទ្ធប្រឆាំងនឹងជំងឺឆ្កែឆ្កួតនៅកម្ពុជា

ការសិក្សា VIRAGE ដឹកនាំដោយវិទ្យាស្ថានប៉ាស្ទ័រទ័រកម្ពុជា សហការជាមួយ នាយកដ្ឋានប្រយុទ្ធនឹងជំងឺឆ្លង នៃក្រសួងសុខាភិបាល, ក្រសួងកសិកម្ម រុក្ខាប្រមាញ់ និងនេសាទ, ក្រសួងអប់រំ យុវជន និងកីឡា និង មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលស្រាវជ្រាវក្សេត្រសាស្ត្រ (CIRAD) បានឈានទៅមុខដល់គួរអោយកត់សំគាល់ ដោយការអង្កេតប្រមូលទិន្នន័យ បានដល់ចំនួន 7 ខេត្តហើយ ក្នុងចំណោមខេត្តក្រុងទាំងអស់ទូទាំងប្រទេស!

ក្រុមសិក្សាស្រាវជ្រាវមានគោលដៅចុះប្រមូលទិន្នន័យពីអ្នកចូលរួមប្រមាណ 12,000 នាក់ ក្នុង 4០០០ គ្រួសារ លើទូទាំងប្រទេស ដោយប្រមូលផ្តុំការយល់ដឹងអំពីរបៀបដែលប្រជាជនឆ្លើយតបទៅនឹងហានិភ័យនៃជំងឺឆ្កែឆ្កួត ៖ តើពួកគាត់ដឹងអ្វីខ្លះ? តើពួកគាត់ធ្វើអ្វីខ្លះបន្ទាប់ពីសត្វខាំ? តើសត្វចិញ្ចឹមត្រូវបានចាក់វ៉ាក់សាំង ដែរឬទេ?

ក្រោមការគាំទ្រនៃស្ថានទូតបារាំង និងក្រសួងអឺរ៉ុប និង ការបរទេស នៃប្រទេសបារាំង ការសិក្សា VIRAGE មានគោលបំណងបង្រួមគម្លាតសំខាន់ៗ ផ្នែកការការពារ និងការគ្រប់គ្រង ជំងឺឆ្កែឆ្កួត។ ដោយវាយតម្លៃលើការយល់ដឹងរបស់ប្រជាជន លើការយល់ឃើញពីហានិភ័យ និងលើឧបសគ្គចំពោះការទទួលបានការបង្ការក្រោយរងរបួស និងលើការតាមដានប្រកបដោយប្រសិទ្ធភាព គម្រោងនេះ ខិតខំបង្កើតទិន្នន័យនាំផ្លូវសកម្មភាពនានា សម្រាប់យុទ្ធសាស្រ្តប្រកបដោយភស្តុតាងជាមូលដ្ឋាន ប្រឆាំងនឹងជំងឺឆ្កែឆ្កួត។

On the Ground: Fighting Rabies in Cambodia

The VIRAGE Study, led by Institut Pasteur du Cambodge in collaboration with CDC-MoH, MAFF, MoEYS and CIRAD, has reached a major milestone — survey data is now collected from 7 provinces across the country!

 The research team aims to visit over four thousand households nation-wide, gathering insights from over 12,000 people to understand how Cambodians respond to rabies risks: What do they know? What actions do they take after a bite? Are pets being vaccinated?

Supported by the French Embassy and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the VIRAGE project is working to close critical gaps in rabies prevention and control. By evaluating public awareness, risk perceptions and barriers to post-exposure prophylaxis access and effective surveillance, the project seeks to generate actionable data for evidence-based strategies against rabies.
