From 21 to 25 July 2025, IPC’s maintenance team delivered a specialized training on laboratory equipment maintenance for six technical staff from the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH).

The training focused on preventive maintenance, installation, and repair of essential laboratory equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, centrifuges, and microscopes, all vital to daily lab operations.

By the end of the training, participants were able to develop standard operating procedures for key equipment, identify necessary tools and spare parts, implement a routine maintenance plan, and set up a system for regular servicing of critical instruments. This initiative marks an important step toward strengthening Cambodia’s public health infrastructure by empowering local teams with the skills and tools needed for sustainable laboratory operations.
