On September 15, 2025, the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) had the honor of welcoming an Australian parliamentary delegation, including Ms. Fiona Phillips MP, Mr. Steve Georganas MP, Senator Maria Kovacic, and Ms. Klara Fay, accompanied by representatives from the Australian Embassy, Ms. Kanu Negi, Ms. Stephenie Chow, and their team, as well as the CAPRED team.

The visit began with welcoming remarks from Prof. André Spiegel, Director of IPC, followed by a presentation on IPC’s mission and activities by Dr. Ly Sowath, Deputy Director of IPC. Dr. Sreng Navin, Head of the Laboratory of Environment and Food Safety (LEFS), then presented an overview of LEFS activities and its collaborative work with CAPRED. The visit concluded with a tour of the LEFS facilities.
