As part of IPC’s mission to support the Ministry of Health in ensuring that life-saving rabies post-exposure prophylaxis is promptly available to animal bite victims, the Phnom Penh Rabies Prevention Center of Institut Pasteur du Cambodge will extend our operating hours on Saturdays until 3:00 PM, effective from April 4th, 2026, to improve community accessibility to this essential health service.

Rabies is almost always fatal once clinical signs appear. However, timely and appropriate post-exposure prophylaxis is effective in preventing rabies. We are committed to ensuring prompt rabies PEP is available for animal bite victims.
