The Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) is a Cambodian non-for-profit research institution established in 1953, IPC is today a scientific research establishment declared of public utility placed under the high patronage of the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia and under the responsibility of the Institute Pasteur on the scientific and technical levels. The IPC is a member of the Pasteur Network, which brings together 33 institutes present on five continents. It shares the Pasteurian values and the ethical charter to which the Pasteur Institutes are bound. The IPC has more than 300 employees, including about 30 expatriates of 10 nationalities and includes 6 research units. It carries out research activities in health biology, public health and service activities (Medical Biology Laboratory, vaccinations and water and food analyses) and training.
The Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) is recruiting a full time Communication Intern to work in Communication. The initial contract is offered for 3 to 6 months contract.

Position Overview:
The Communication Intern is based in Phnom Penh at the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC). He/she will work under the supervision of the Communication team and support institutional communication, social media activities, content creation, and internal communication projects. The intern will contribute to strengthening IPC’s visibility and supporting communication initiatives across different units and services.
Recruitment conditions:
- Language required: Khmer, English or French
- Position: Full-time
- Contract: Three to Six Months
- Start Date: 01 September 2026

Main Responsibilities:
The Communication Intern is based in Phnom Penh at the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge. He/she will work under the supervision of the Communication Manager, providing support for the communication tasks of the institution. Strong communication skills and strong typing skills preferred.
He/she will be responsible for:
- Support communication activities across IPC units and services
- Assist in collecting information, photos, and updates from departments
- Draft content for Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Support the creation of scientist portraits, interviews, and social media content
- Assist in photo/video coordination and content organization
- Help structure IPC’s internal phototheque and communication database
- Participate in the preparation of institutional events and awareness campaigns
- Provide support for workshops, seminars, and communication activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and different IPC teams.
Candidate Profile:
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Communication, Marketing, Media, Public Relations, Journalism, or related fields
- Strong interest in social media, communication, and content creation
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or design tools is a plus
- Good communication and writing skills in English
- Willing to work full time
- Behavioral Competencies: organized, creative, proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented
