យើងខ្ញុំមានសេចក្តីសោមនស្សរីករាយ ក្នុងការចូលរួមសម្តែងការអបអរសាទរចំពោះលោកបណ្ឌិត Herman ដែលជានិស្សិតថ្នាក់បណ្ឌិតនៃផ្នែកអេពីដេមីសាស្ដ្រ និងសុខភាពសាធារណៈ នៃវិទ្យាស្ថានប៉ាស្ទ័រកម្ពុជា ដែលបញ្ចប់ការសិក្សាដោយប្រើប្រាស់ទិន្នន័យមួយផ្នែកនៃការសិក្សាស្រាវជ្រាវ VIRAGE ក្រោមការដឹកនាំ និងត្រួតពិនិត្យរបស់លោកបណ្ឌិត Claude Flamand ដែលជាប្រធានផ្នែករោគរាតត្បាត និងសុខភាពសាធារណៈ និងលោកស្រី Hélène GUIS ដែលជាអ្នកជំនាញខាងរោគរាតត្បាតបសុព្យាបាលមកពីស្ថាប័ន CIRAD។
បន្ទាប់ពីបានបញ្ចប់ការ ការពារនិក្ខេបបទថ្នាក់បណ្ឌិតនៅប្រទេសបារាំងដោយជោគជ័យកាលពីថ្ងៃទី៦ ខែកក្កដាកន្លងទៅ ហូតមកដល់ថ្ងៃទី១៧ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ នេះ លោកបានធ្វើបទបង្ហាញអំពីការស្រាវជ្រាវរបស់លោកម្ដងទៀត ជូនដល់មិត្តរួមការងារនៅក្នុងផ្នែកអេពីដេមីសាស្ដ្រ និងសុខភាពសាធារណៈ។
បទបង្ហាញរបស់លោកក្រោមប្រធានបទ «ការប៉ាន់ប្រមាណអំពីបន្ទុកនៃជំងឺឆ្កែឆ្កួតលើមនុស្សនៅកម្ពុជា» (Estimation of the Burden of Human Rabies in Cambodia) បានចែករំលែកនូវរបកគំហើញសំខាន់ៗអំពីផលប៉ះពាល់ និងបន្ទុកនៃជំងឺឆ្កែឆ្កួតលើមនុស្សនៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ព្រមទាំងផ្តល់ឱកាសឱ្យមិត្តរួមការងារទាំងអស់បានពិភាក្សាគ្នាអំពីសារៈសំខាន់ និងការអនុវត្តបន្តនៃការស្រាវជ្រាវនេះផងដែរ។
សមិទ្ធផលរបស់លោកបណ្ឌិត Herman គឺជាការឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងឱ្យឃើញនូវការបញ្ចប់ការសិក្សាថ្នាក់បណ្ឌិតដោយជោគជ័យមួយរូបទៀត ចេញពីផ្នែកអេពីដេមីសាស្ដ្រ និងសុខភាពសាធារណៈ ដែលបង្ហាញពីការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តជាបន្តបន្ទាប់របស់អង្គភាព ក្នុងការលើកកម្ពស់ឧត្តមភាពនៃការស្រាវជ្រាវ និងការកសាងសមត្ថភាព។

Congratulations to Dr. Herman BANZA KONGOLO on Successfully Completing His PhD!
We are delighted to congratulate Dr. Herman BANZA KONGOLO on the successful completion of his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
Dr. Herman is a PhD graduate from the Epidemiology and Public Health Unit at the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge. His doctoral research was conducted using data from the VIRAGE study under the supervision of Dr. Claude Flamand, Head of the Epidemiology and Public Health Uni and Hélène GUIS a veterinarian-épidémiologist from CIRAD.
Following the successful defense of his doctoral thesis in France on 6 July, Dr. Herman returned to present his research in English to colleagues from the Epidemiology and Public Health Unit on 17 July 2026.
His presentation, titled “Estimation of the Burden of Human Rabies in Cambodia,” shared important findings on the impact and burden of human rabies in Cambodia. The session also provided an opportunity for colleagues to discuss the significance of the research and its implications for future public health practice and research.
Dr. Herman’s achievement marks another successful PhD graduate from the Epidemiology and Public Health Unit, reflecting the Unit’s continued commitment to advancing research excellence and strengthening scientific capacity.
