VIRAGE Youth Digital Ambassador 2026

On 2 July, Institut Pasteur du Cambodge(IPC), in collaboration with the Department of Media and Communication (DMC) at the Royal University of Phnom Penh and the Department of Communicable Disease Control (CDC) of the Ministry of Health, held the Orientation Workshop for the VIRAGE Youth Digital Ambassador Internship 2026.
Four Year 2 and Year 3 students were selected as Youth Digital Ambassadors to support the VIRAGE campaign through digital content creation and youth engagement on social media.

During the orientation, the students learned about the VIRAGE Study, rabies prevention in Cambodia, and the role of digital storytelling in public health communication.

Coordinated by IPC’s Epidemiology and Public Health Unit, the VIRAGE project promotes rabies prevention through creative storytelling. We are excited to welcome DMC students as Youth Digital Ambassadors to transform these important messages into engaging, youth-friendly social media content.

The project is supported by the Fonds Équipe France (FEF) of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the French Embassy in Cambodia.
