Our Commitment to Quality

The Medical Biology Laboratory is committed to providing reliable, accurate, and timely examination services to ensure satisfaction of patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory users.

Our laboratory implements a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) designed to ensure:

  • Compliance with ISO 15189:2022 requirements;
  • Use of validated examination methods and appropriate technologies;
  • Application of good professional and ethical laboratory practices;
  • Continuous improvement of laboratory quality and performance;
  • Competency, training, and involvement of laboratory personnel;
  • Maintenance of a safe, organized, and quality-focused working environment.

The Quality Management System applies to all laboratory activities, including pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes.

 

Accreditation and Use of Accreditation Mark

Our laboratory is accredited by COFRAC (French Accreditation Committee) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 15189:2012 (since 2018) and ISO 15189:2022 (since 2024) for specific examinations included within the accredited scope.

The COFRAC accreditation mark is used only on laboratory reports issued by the Medical Biology Laboratory (MBL) at Institut Pasteur du Cambodge and exclusively for examinations covered by the accreditation scope, in full compliance with COFRAC requirements and regulations.

 

Clients and external organizations are not authorized to:

 

  • Use the laboratory accreditation mark in any form;
  • Claim or imply accreditation to ISO 15189:2022 through their relationship with the laboratory;
  • Suggest that their own services, activities, or products are accredited by COFRAC.

Any misuse of the COFRAC accreditation mark must be immediately corrected and reported to the Medical Biology Laboratory at Institut Pasteur du Cambodge.
